School Performance
As you know, the children at Aspire all have an EHCP and a primary need of Social Emotional and Mental Health needs.
We recognise that every child is unique, which is why we take a holistic approach to their education and wellbeing. Our dedicated team works closely with families and supporting agencies to help pupils develop confidence and essential life skills. Through high quality teaching and learning, therapeutic interventions and a focus on personal development, we support every child to progress successfully onto the next stage of their education and their lives.
We are passionate about the opportunities that we provide at Aspire and remain ambitious for every child, working to ensure they make the most possible progress and experience success in their learning.
Children attending Aspire are all given the opportunity to take part in SATs assessments in line with their peers in mainstream schools, as their individual needs will allow. Very often, our children, despite working hard and making, what is often seen as accelerated progress, may not reach the expected level Year 6 as their starting point is often so low.
DfE Performance Tables
The Department for Education publish performance tables which give information on the achievements of pupils in primary, secondary and 16-18 provision in schools and colleges, and how they compare with other schools and colleges in the Local Authority (LA) area and in England as a whole.
