Midday Interactive Play Leader
Overview
We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic Interactive Play Leaders to complete our team. You would be responsible for the safety and welfare of the children during the school lunch time break, working alongside our teaching assistants and behaviour team. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. An interest or experience of working with children with special needs would be lovely, but not essential. The successful candidates will join a friendly, supportive team with opportunities for further training. This is an ideal opportunity for those seeking experience in schools who may be looking to progress into a teaching assistant role.

- Able to listen to children and understand their needs
- Able to create fun playground games and activities that keep the children entertained and develop their social skills
- Able to distract and de-escalate at times of conflict.
- Know how to keep pupils safe.

Salary & Benefits
- Initially Fixed Term 1 year contract with potential to become permanent
- 2 hours per day (between 11:30-14:00 Mon- Fri)

- Salary: £5,826 (Actual) £25,727 (Full time equivalent of LSEAT(H) 17)
